A few good questions.
When should I start reading?
You can start when you find out you’re pregnant. The book follows the first, second, and third trimesters, so you can also begin with the stage you’re in now.
Does it cover life after the birth?
Yes. The final chapters cover postpartum recovery, feeding and the baby bubble, then identity, relationships, and finding support as you become a mom.
What is different about the Dad + Mom set?
You get one Mom Volume 1 paperback and one Dad Volume 1 paperback. Mom’s guide focuses on her experience; Dad’s gives her partner a practical starting point for pregnancy and birth preparation. The set is $45; the books cost $56 separately.
Who fills in My Mom Rocks?
The person giving the keepsake fills it in for Mom. Its 101 prompts and photo spaces are for personal memories and appreciation. It is a gift to complete, separate from the pregnancy guide.
Does this replace advice from my care team?
No. It is a general reading companion for pregnancy and early motherhood. Bring your personal health questions and birth decisions to your midwife, doctor, or other qualified care professional.
